A Christmas Day Table
On a bit of a whim, I decided to create some stationery for the Christmas Day dinner at my parents. I’ve seen more and more people lately making their dinner tables look beautiful, not just your standard plates and cutlery fare, and for an occasion such as Christmas I thought, why not? No longer just for weddings (although ), I managed to make the dinner table look decent with a table cloth or two, some artificial foliage and stationery. the crackers helped!
Because I hadn’t really planned this, I wasn’t sure it was going to work as I had no idea what colour napkins/table cloth my mum had got. Luckily, she ended up borrowing my table cloths, and napkins were gold (as were the crackers), so I ended up with a grey/gold/green them which worked!
I didn’t get many photos, but here’s a quick little snapshot of the menus I created and the individual place names for each place setting. I used some grey and white string and a grey backing for the place names as grey goes with everything!
